After obtaining her degree in chemistry, Aundrea began her professional career working in the pharmaceutical industry. She became inspired to start her own business while raising her two boys, ages 7 and 4. Aundrea's business 'formula' came together while searching for attractive and highly functional products to use for baby's daily spits and spills.
She officially launched her products in 2006, designing and creating well crafted and stylish burp cloths and loveys, infant comfort blankets. Guided by her commitment to her faith and family, with a focus on fun, the popularity of Zerbert Baby's products took her by surprise. Through initial sales to family and friends, word of mouth marketing expanded her business to several boutiques in the Southeast. Beginning in 2007, Aundrea is very excited to expand her business online and augment her collection to now include bibs and bags.
Aundrea and her family live in the Charlotte, North Carolina area. She is married to her firefighter husband, Doug, and they celebrated their 10-year wedding anniversary in 2008. They have two beautiful boys, Peter, age 7, and Nathan, age 4, who continually provide inspiration for Zerbert Baby products and designs.
