What’s a zerbert?
Eliciting laughter, a zerbert is the fun and silly act of pressing your lips on a baby’s stomach, or other soft area like arms and legs, and blowing, producing a tickling feeling. It is called a raspberry in some parts of the U.S. and a zerbert in others. Just the anticipation of a zerbert can generate laughs for everyone.
Zerberts and other sounds are widely used across human cultures. These sounds form the beginnings of babies’ vocal play and exploration into the world of language.
What’s Zerbert Baby?
We are committed to creating and designing unique products for little ones and their parents. We chose the name Zerbert Baby to represent the laughter and fun from experiencing the world through a child’s senses.
We decided to create our company after feeling “underwhelmed” by the amount of ho hum baby gear out there. Zerbert Baby’s workshop produces attractive and highly functional selections of boutique style burp cloths, blankees, bibs and bags. Keep coming back as we continue to expand our unique collections.
